'What is healthcare and what do I pay for?' still remains the most ambiguous thought and this is what provoked me to write my first article on LinkedIn about #valuebasedhealthcare
Value-based healthcare is a novel healthcare delivery model in which providers, including hospitals and physicians, are paid based on patient health outcomes.
Under value-based care agreements, providers are rewarded for helping patients improve their health, reduce the effects and incidence of chronic disease, and live healthier lives in an evidence-based way.

#DigitalTherapeutics, if commercialized in the right way with structured go-to-market strategies seem to be a direct fit for such a novel healthcare delivery model.
Here are a few examples of partnerships that show early promises that moving from a fee-for-service to a fee-for-value system makes more sense and as the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, providers increase their adoption of value-based care models, they may see longer-term costs decline.
