A privately owned global investment management firm with approximately $70 billion in assets across all major asset classes approached Knowledge Ridge for expert insights into the impact of a recent merger between two major global insurance providers. This included speaking to former middle and upper management executives from the two merged insurance companies to get specific and pinpointed insights into the likely potential impact of the merger on the insurance business for the newly formed entity, the synergies, and challenges presented by the merger, the post-merger cash flows and the overall effect of the merger on the sales of insurance products. They were phone interviewed to understand their direct involvement and were shortlisted based on their expertise and experience in providing a deep dive into the impact of the merger on the insurance business for the newly formed entity, the synergies, and challenges presented by the merger, the post-merger cash flows and the overall effect of the merger on the sales of insurance products. Subsequently, experts were identified and shortlisted, and their biography was drafted as per Knowledge Ridge’s phone interviewing process. The final list of experts was sent to the client for their selection.
