This included perspectives on how the different service models work for heavy/construction equipment such as Articulated Trucks, Bulldozers, Tractors, etc. Services like maintenance, retrofitting, renting equipment, financial solutions when acquiring equipment, technology services or safety services, etc were to be touched upon as well. Furthermore, the client needed in-depth information and perspectives on business schemes (Customer lifecycle - approaching customers to provide the service), key success factors, technology perspective - feasibility of rebuilding existing equipment, and evaluation parameters. The client also required insights on what resources are needed to fulfill such equipment services.

Knowledge Ridge researchers selected relevant global industrial machinery experts, phone interviewed them to understand their direct involvement, and for which aspects of the project they can add value and share insights, ensuring all angles of the request were covered. Some of these experts included management level experts at the corporate level that possess know-how about the service programs such as the CAT (Certified Rebuild Program). Subsequently, experts were identified and shortlisted, which included senior executives, C level, and key decision-makers from leading companies and their biography was drafted as per Knowledge Ridge’s phone interviewing process. The final list of experts was sent to the client for their selection.
